The History of ZM's Secret Sound

We've now given away a whopping $700,000 with ZM's Secret Sound because this season's $50,000 has now been won!

Lacey from New Plymouth has just won herself $50,000 for correctly guessing that the Secret Sound was jumper leads connecting to a car battery!

Brooke is free, she's now out of the ZM Lair!! Thanks Lacey xx

You asked for what the previous sounds were in ZM's Close Friends, and we live to please, so here they are...

In 2017, our very first Secret Sound was won with the guess A CAR ASH TRAY being pulled in & out.

Later in 2017, cause we wanted to give more money away, OG Soundkeeper Gary's Secret Sound was a PETROL PUMP being hung up and Yvette was our lucky winner.

In 2018, CHOPSTICKS RUBBING TOGETHER was the guess that would have won you $50,000 with Soundkeeper Gary. Congrats Santana who scored the cash.

In another 2018 edition of Secret Sound, Soundkeeper Gary gave away the cash when Michaela from Auckland correctly guessed that the Secret Sound was breaking the ice out of an ice cube tray!

Later in 2018, Jade won with her guess of a SOAP DISPENSER with Soundkeeper Annabelle.

2020 saw Jess correctly guess Soundkeeper Gary's Secret Sound was a CHAMPAGNE BOTTLE POPPING and pouring out of the bottle. 

In early 2021, Soundkeeper Ella cooked up a sound using a BLUNT UMBRELLA.

Georgia called up with the correct guess and won herself $50,000

Later on in 2021, Shinnae win Secret Sound after guessing a CHILLY BIN LID CLOSING. 

 In April of 2022, Soundkeeper Ella confirmed the Secret Sound was FLICKING THROUGH A BOOK.

Arihana was the lucky caller to get through with that guess.

Later on in 2022, Soundkeeper Georgia CRACKED AN EGG as the Secret Sound.

Who could forget the time we gave away $10,000 on the first day of Secret Sound after Ross Boss chose the sound?

Amy won and spent the money ride on lawnmower and a trip to Africa hahahaha love that so much.

Fast forward to 2025 where Soundkeeper Brooke kept us up at night with her Secret Sound.
