VIDEO: Stars pull together for emotional tribute song to London's Grenfell Tower victims

Simon Cowell has pulled together a star-studded line-up of more than 50 artists to record a moving cover of Simon and Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Water.

The track is performed by the collective Artists For Grenfell celebrity group, and was given its first play across UK radio stations at 8am this morning.

More than 50 artists including One Direction's Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Robbie Williams, , Stormzy , Rita Ora, Jessie J, Leona Lewis, Jessie J, James Arthur and more, gave their time to record vocals for the fundraising track.

A leaked lyric sheet shows exactly who sings which part in the emotional video, which features scenes from the London Tower Inferno. 

Photos of victims, family members, emotional firefighters and people coming together in London, all feature in the 4-min video.

The single was released on Wednesday morning and it is available to buy on iTunes now.

All the money raised will go straight to The London Community Foundation to help all those affected by the Grenfell fire, which took place one week ago.

Simon Cowell also donated £100,000 to the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire, after admitting he felt "angry and upset" when he saw footage of the inferno which killed more than 70 people.

He told the Mirror Online: "It is a great song to send out a message of support and once we decided on that, we had to get the artists."
