Katy Perry's New Job as a Weather Girl

Katy Perry posed as a weather-woman, but it's not as you'd expect to see the bubbly pop star! The singer delivered a rather serious weather forecast on global climate conditions in a new video for the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

“The worst part about this is that some of the youngest and most vulnerable citizens of our world are bearing the most unfair burden of climate change. Let’s encourage our world leaders to take this issue seriously,” Perry said in a statement that accompanied the video. “Together we can help change the forecast for millions of children.”

Perry has been a busy bee this year! Along with her work with UNICEF, the singer was named the highest-paid woman in the music industry with earnings of $135 million, mostly from her insanely successful Prismatic World Tour.
