Zac Efron wishes he was 17 again!

Zaddy Zac is officially down to step back into the role of Troy Bolton! In a short clip with E! News, he was asked, "Would you be interested in a High School Musical reboot?" and his answer has us in our feels.

Without any hesitation, he replied, "Of course. Seriously, having the opportunity, in any form, to go back and work with that team would be so amazing."

He went on to say, "My heart's still there. That would be incredible. I hope it happens!"

The first High School Musical movie premiered on Disney Channel over 15 years ago in 2006. The cast went on to star in two more movies, with the third installment High School Musical 3: Senior Year getting a theatrical release in 2008.

When Zac didn't turn up to the cast reunion back in 2020, fans had their doubts. So this is the best day ever!

And if that doesn't have you shook, this will... Zac's next role will see him play a Dad. Way to make us feel old! The actor will portray Ryan Kiera Armstrong's father in the film Firestarter based on Stephen King's 1980 novel and the 1984 film of the same name.

When we say reboot, you say... we're all in this together!

In the latest ep of Locals Only, Tom Harper is joined by Christchurch singer Mousey!
Tom took the name of the artist a little too literally and blew the budget on expensive cheeses in order to make all of the game's mouse themed... Check out their full chat below.
