A British dating site, IllicitEncounters, has surveyed one thousand random people to find out when they actually fell in love for the first time.
And it turns out that that first love can come at quite a tender young age, with 55% of people saying they first fell in love between the ages of 15 and 18.
This is followed by 20% falling in love between the ages of 19 and 21.
17% of people fall in love after the age of 25, so if you're in your mid to late 20's, never fear, you still have plenty of time to find that first love.Â
The results also found that most people's first serious relationship lasts between one and five years for 40% of us.
25% of those surveyed said they were still with their first loves, which gives us the warm fuzzes.Â
And now we're off to watch The Notebook.Â
