There's one question that can basically reveal if you're a good or bad person.

Okay, that's going a bit far but it can reveal a lot about you and your personality.

Asking people what they think of other people  means a lot. People who describe others with negative qualities tend to be a bit ‘dark’ themselves – as they see their own qualities in other people, according to PsyBlog.

The generous person sees others as generous and the selfish person sees others as selfish.

Dr Dustin Wood, the study’s first author, said:

“A huge suite of negative personality traits are associated with viewing others negatively.

The simple tendency to see people negatively indicates a greater likelihood of depression and various personality disorders.”

Yikes.

These results come from a series of three studies which basically found that the more positively you judge someone, the more positive you are yourself and vice versa.

People who judged others more positively also turned out to be more satisfied with their own lives.

The researchers even returned to the same people a year later and found the results were the same.
