The Tinder Swindler is now banned from more dating apps, not just Tinder

It's the doco everyone's talking about right now!

The Tinder Swindler debuted on Netflix last week and racked up over 45 million hours of viewing around the world.

But now dating apps have quickly banned the man behind it all Simon Hiyut to ensure he doesn't continue to fraud his way to over 15 million NZD.

Simon still had a Tinder account when the doco was released, but the dating app was quick to block him from the platform.

A spokesperson said, "In the lead-up to the release of the documentary, we conducted additional internal investigations and can confirm Simon Leviev is not active on Tinder under any of his known aliases."

While Tinder was Simon's app of choice, other leading apps have all followed suit to make sure he doesn't get any ideas.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, these apps include Hinge, Match.com, OkCupid, PlentyOfFish among others.

If you haven't seen the doco yet, we suggest you get on Netflix ASAP because watercooler chat isn't the same when you're not involved!
