Don't forget your roots huh?

In iconic fashion, the lads from Six60 have paid 1.7 million dollars to buy the very house that inspired the band's name.

"Excited to announce we are the proud new owners of 660 Castle Street. The place where it all began," the band posted on Instagram, with a picture of the front of the house, with a sold graphic across it.

According to One Roof, the property sold for $1.7 million in March this year. One Roof estimates the house is worth $845,000.

As you can imagine, Six60 fans are frothing the news.

"That's pretty amazing to be able to own the place where all the magic happened," one commented.

"When's the house party," asked another. We agree though, when is it?!

There has been no word on what the house will be turned into, but can you imagine the bangers that could be created if it was a studio!
