Ryan Reynolds & Blake Lively have pledged to donate up to $1 million to help displaced Ukrainians

Hollywood power couple Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are certainly doing their bit to help the country of Ukraine as they have pledged to match donations from the public up to $1 million US dollars.

The star of Free Guy made the commitment via Twitter, retweeting a post from the United Nations Refugee Agency.

In 48 hours, countless Ukrainians were forced to flee their homes to neighboring countries. They need protection. When you donate, we’ll match it up to $1,000,000, creating double the support.⬇️ https://t.co/xCFL1Lptuw https://t.co/CHp48E1KLQ

His wife and Gossip Girl star Blake Lively shared their message using an image of a Ukrainian child being passed to what looks like a train headed for a safe zone.

On the donation page on the UN Refugee Agency website, it reads:

"When you donate today, your compassionate gift will be matched by Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds — up to $1 million. Double your impact to send lifesaving aid to Ukrainian families in need".
