NZ Band is Killing It, Babe!

Kiwi funk-pop duo Foley are killing it, babe.

The final episode of The Kardashians, season 4 streamed on Disney+ this week and fans of the Tamaki Makaurau-based pop-band, Foley, were stunned to hear their song Killing Me Babe play during the first scene.

The opening bars of the song play as guests arrive for Scott Disick’s 40th birthday celebrations, including Kim and Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner.

 The graft-pays off!

After years spent building blocks for their musical path, Ash Wallace and Gabe Everett have finally gone international.

Gabe says that hearing their song play on the iconic show was “unbelievable” - though they knew it was going to appear on the show, as producers had previously reached out to their label.

Putting in the hours has not been all blood, sweat and tears. The duo says that they "fell in love with exploring how far we can push the pop envelope, how far we can twist things and play with them to make them super interesting.”
