Heather Morris has paid a poignant tribute to her former co-star Naya Rivera one year after her passing.
The Glee star shared a picture of her new ink on Instagram, which has a message in delicate script which says "tomorrow is not promised".
The phrase is in reference to one of the final tweets made by Rivera, in the days leading up to her disappearance in July 2020.
Morris' Insta post also contained a picture of Rivera, and a touching caption which really showcased how close the two were, not only on screen but in real life.
"It hasn’t gotten easier to write a caption. You are the brightest star in my eyes Naya Rivera. I’m so grateful GOD LAYED A HAND and brought us together as best friends, mom friends, scene partners, and everything in between. Your legacy lives on in kindness and being “that sassy queen” in my eyes. I love you forever bebe girl".
Morris wasn't the only Glee star to pay tribute, with Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina Cohen-Chang), Kevin McHale (Artie Abrams) and Matthew Morrison (Will Schuester) all sharing pictures of Rivera to their social media.
Naya Rivera tragically passed in 2020, after saving her son Josey (4), whilst out boating.
Forever in our hearts, Naya #RIP
