Dame Jacinda Ardern will appear on an upcoming episode of the popular UK talk show Graham Norton.
The BBC website lists the former New Zealand Prime Minister as a guest for series 33, episode 10, which is due to air on December 5 in the UK.
It will be Ardern’s first time on the famous red sofa, and the episode will screen in New Zealand on TVNZ and TVNZ+ a week later, on December 12.
Ardern will be joined on the sofa by comedian and The Celebrity Traitors UK star Alan Carr, Oscar winner Kate Winslet and US Late Night talk show host Seth Meyers.
Her appearance on Norton’s show coincides with a promotional tour for her autobiographical film Prime Minister, which will be released in the UK and Ireland on December 5.
The documentary won the audience award at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and was released in New Zealand on September 25.
The film includes home video footage shot by Ardern’s husband, Clarke Gayford, who is credited as one of the film’s six producers and three directors of photography.
Gayford posted on social media over the weekend, while the pair were on a “date afternoon” to watch the All Blacks play England at Twickenham, that the film’s world tour is ongoing.

The family appears to be based in the UK while on a promotional tour for the film. Ardern will visit Glasgow on November 21 for a premiere screening of the documentary, before heading back to London for another premiere on December 1.
The return to London is well-timed for the Graham Norton appearance, which is typically filmed a day or two in advance of airing in the UK.
The show’s host Norton and Ardern were spotted in October shaking hands onstage during the Clooney Foundation for Justice’s The Albies at the Natural History Museum in London. Ardern also spoke at the event.
On November 5, she also attended The Earthshot Prize Summit and Awards in Brazil, where she is a prize trustee, alongside Earthshot Prize founder Prince William.
Ardern recently appeared on John Stewart’s The Daily Show, promoting her book A Different Kind of Power, as well as The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, with whom she developed a rapport during her time as Prime Minister.
