There's a new trend going around, and it's showing just how Instagram figures out what ads you see...
It's not surprising that Instagram, along with all social media sites, collects your data in order to give you ads based on what they think you'll be interested in.
Over the weekend, a trend struck up on Twitter where people found where that data was stored, and you can too:

1. On your @instagram, click Settings > Security > Access Data > Ads.
2. Laugh at how wildly off-base the results are.
3. Share the most ridiculous results below.
Some of my best are "Plastic," "Emotion," "Woman," and something called "Netmums." #InstagramAds
Go to your Instagram profile > Settings > Security > Access Data > Scroll to the bottom > Ads
Easy as that!
A lot of people were finding that Instagram had some weird (and hilarious) thoughts about their interests...

You can also find other data such as your old usernames, bios, blocked accounts and follow requests when the other person hasn't accepted!
