Ah, 2012. Simpler times!

Earlier this week Ed Sheeran took to Instagram to reminisce on old times by singing his verse on his duet with Taylor Swift 'Everything Has Changed' which Sheeran featured on back in the day.

The re-recording is to contribute to 'Taylor's Version' of her 2012 album Red which is due for release on November 19th.

In the process, Ed or as he's known on IG as @teddysphotos used the video to plug the presale launch for the iconic album.

Alongside the footage, he wrote: "Here's a video of me re-recording my bit for a song you might know. There's also a brand new song me and Taylor wrote the first day we met called 'Run' that's out with the new version of the record, November 19th," he added.

And as you're probably aware, Swift is re-recording her first six albums with Fearless released in April. Red is next which is due in a few months time.

And like most vids of Ed singing, the video has gone gangbusters having been viewed nearly 4 million times.

So, now we're just out here counting down the days until we can hear a brand new Sweeran duet (+ 'Everything Has Changed' of course)!
