DoorDash have special $1 deals this weekend if you're in Christchurch or Wellington!

It's like DoorDash knew I was on struggle street this week after a long weekend bender...

DoorDash have joined forces with favourite local hotspots in Christchurch and Wellington this weekend only from Friday 14th April to Sunday 16th April, offering up delicious and affordable $1 menu items!

There will be a rotating roster of restaurants offering something new each day, but only during the hours of 2 - 5pm so don't be that indecisive person who takes hours to pick somewhere to eat.

$1 options in Wellington include:

• Reburger and their Smashed Prince burger
• Hutt Rubs with pulled pork loaded fries
• Gerry’s Charcoal Chicken and the infamous chicken and chips
• Mama Brown’s infamous southern fried chicken burger
• Lord of the Fries and their sampler munch box
• Abrakebabra and their classic go-to, meat on chips

DoorDash want to highlight eateries that people may not have heard of before, and we're all about helping support local. Their General Manager of New Zealand, Australia, and Canda Rebecca Burrows said, “We’re excited to launch $1 meals this weekend and get Kiwis to get behind their favourite hospitality outlets.” 

“We’ve got some amazing local eateries behind us and together we’re hoping to get their delicious food out to more Kiwis this weekend for only $1.”

Christchurch’s mouth-watering $1 deals include:

• $2 Dumpling Rice’s famous lunch box
• Burger Station’s chicken burger
• Lazeez and their fan favourite grilled chicken souvlaki
• Pot Sticker Dumpling Bar and their dozen matter dumplings
• Empire Chicken’s scrumptious tender box
