When the South Korean drama, Squid Game, dropped in September last year it took the world by storm 🌩

You couldn’t avoid the show, it was the watercooler chat, the elevator chat, the hairdresser chat, everyone was obsessed!

In literal days, Squid Game became one of Netflix's biggest shows, racking up an unprecedented number of views:

The series writer and director, Hwang Dong-hyuk previously confirmed a season two was coming, and now Netflix has confirmed that season 2 is coming!

Most K-dramas, run for 16 episodes and tend not to have more than one season so we're feeling super relieved because that last episode was left pretty open.

Squid Game is a drama that followed a group of people with financial troubles. They are given the opportunity to compete in a series of games and win money that would allow them to pay off their debts.

The winner can walk away with a prize cash of ₩45.6 billion (or around $56 million). There's a catch to the game though: once-innocent childhood games are turned lethal in the remote, private island enclave the players are transported to.

While we're glad season 2 is coming, we wanna know WHEN?!

In the meantime, we'll watch the first season again... and again... and again 😊👌
