Never miss a post again!

We've asked for months, and finally the head honchos at Meta have listened! Instagram will be getting back to 'normal'.

Launched today, Instagram has added two ways that you can follow friends, influencers and celebs to ensure that you never miss a post.

All accounts you follow will now be separated into two groups - 'Following' and 'Favourites'.

Your 'following' list will show you new posts from everyone you follow, whether you interact with them much or not. While the addition of Instagram 'Favourites' allows you to select 50 of your favourite accounts which will always appear at the top of your feed.

Both Favorites and Following will show you posts in chronological order, so you can quickly catch up on recent posts.

To select your favourites, or to try the new feature, you'll need to have the latest version of Instagram downloaded on your device and tap on the Instagram logo on the top left. This will allow you to swap between lists.

Cheers IG - since we asked so nicely and you listened... Could we also ask for that blue tick? Like pretty please.
