The 26-year-old viral star is a huge fan of Miley Cyrus and her former Disney Channel alter ego, and the first ever show she went to watch was the 'Best of Both Worlds' hitmaker's tour with the Jonas Brothers.
Speaking at Miley's Disney Legend induction ceremony over the weekend - which saw the 31-year-old star become the youngest ever person to get the honour - Chappell said: "Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana tour with Jonas Brothers opening was my first concert ever.
brb balling my eyes out, Hannah raised me 😭😭
"She came down in a box from the ceiling. I was like, ‘How do I do that one day?’
"I still think about it. I still think about the show. I want to be like Hannah Montana. There’s a lot of crossover between Miley and my project, and it’s just like, I’m such a fan too.”
Chappell was a huge fan of Miley's TV series, 'Hannah Montana', where the star played a seemingly average teenage girl who lives a double life as a famous pop singer.
The 'Casual' singer revealed she also loves the way Miley is able to "constantly" change her style in a way that "always works" while feeling genuine.
She added: "The thing that I admire about Miley Cyrus is that she constantly reinvents herself and always works.
“For a lot of artists, it can seem inauthentic or out of the blue, but she’s very open about her transformations artistically and personally, and she’s so true to herself. She puts out music that is so authentic.”
She recently recalled being starstruck when Miley Cyrus invited her to a party.
Speaking on Drew Afualo's 'The Comment Section' podcast, she said: "Miley invited me to a party, and I was like, ‘You don’t know that you were my first concert when the Jonas Brothers were opening for you.'
"I was in fourth grade, and when she came out I saw my friends start crying, and then little girls around us started crying, and I was like, ‘I guess I’ve gotta cry.’
"I was like, ‘This is so emotional.'
"I didn’t understand then why people were crying, but now I get it. I’m like, ‘Oh, because that was the coolest thing.’ It was so spiritual."
