Singles can now 'show their shot' on Bumble.

From today you'll be able to add a vaccination badge to your Bumble profile which will allow future partners to see your status.

The idea comes to light after the 'female-first' dating up noticed the words "vaccine" and "vaccinated" appear in more profile bios.

Lucille McCart, Bumble’s APAC Director, said: “We know that single people are looking to take control of their dating lives as we move out of the pandemic. We know that conversations around Covid-related safety are top of mind for our community, so it is important for us to make it easier to feel comfortable and safe on a date.

With our new ‘vaccinated’ badge and other features, you can easily communicate your dating preferences on Bumble.

As vaccinations become available to the general population in New Zealand over the coming months, we look forward to being able to offer this new feature to single Kiwis.”

The new vaccine feature has been available in the UK since last month.
