Pink breaks record for New Zealand performances

Pink took New Zealand by storm when she was here for seven performances in her Beautiful Trauma world tour.

After her performance in Dunedin, Pink conquered Auckland with six incredible sold-out shows at Spark Arena through September 4-11.

And those performances have resulted in her breaking a new record - as she smashed the previous record for the highest concert audience attendance at Spark Arena by any artist, attracting 73,087 fans from around New Zealand across the six nights.

The previous venue record was held by Bruno Mars, with 48,783 tickets sold across four shows during the 24K Magic World Tour back in March 2018, and prior to that by Beyonce.

New Zealanders were eager to see Pink perform live after a 10-year gap between visits.

I found the perfect place in Auckland. They were closing when we came in, but the bartender had a fire lit, and booze to sell, so he welcomed all 16 of us to celebrate the end of a truly magical journey through New Zealand. Pink wowed New Zealand audiences with her incredible stage presence, vocals and acrobatics.
