Locals Only - Alisa Xaylith 'I'll Be There'

World-renowned, multi-platinum, award-winning artist Alisa Xayalith of The Naked and Famous has released her brand-new single ‘I’ll Be There’!

After a decade of internationally touring in over 25 countries, performing at festivals from Coachella to Bonnaroo, and collaborating with artists around the globe, Alisa will now be releasing her long-awaited debut EP SUPERPOWERS out November 18th!

Xayalith shares ‘I’ll Be There’ as a candid ode to friendship. It tells the raw and honest story of bringing a friend back to the surface after a difficult breakup in a long-term relationship.

The new single follows the EP title track, which came out in December 2021, NME praised the song as a “lush, spacious pop cut that foregrounds the singer’s syrupy vocals with shimmering synths and a soaring, effervescent chorus.”

Xayalith describes her forthcoming EP as “dreamy, moody, and romantic, through a colourful vintage lens. I wanted to create a world I could escape in and reflect how I want to be seen.”

About the title track she said, "my solo project has exposed weaknesses that I had to work through. But, it also showed me my strengths and who the hell I am as an artist.

Superpowers is a song that ebbs and flows somewhere between my low self-esteem and figuring out a confident self to keep moving forward and keep dreaming."
