Avalanche City - I Need You

‘I Need You’ is the latest single to come from Avalanche City’s sophomore album, WE ARE FOR THE WILD PLACES, which features the #1 smash hit single ‘Inside Out’.

“A lot of my songs are about capturing a single moment in time”, says Dave Baxter of Avalanche City. “It’s often tiny, specific little moments that we remember. With ‘I Need You’ I tried to capture that first time when someone notices you. It’s a feeling of triumph like nothing else. One of my favourite lines on the album is in this song, “Oh my love, the first time you noticed me, the sunlight was dim compared to the blazing glow of victory.” I think it sums that feeling up exactly.”

Avalanche City is currently touring throughout New Zealand this June on the ‘Little Fire’ tour.
